Change in pre-season football competition
Thursday, 20 March 2003
A change in the Augusta Power Stations Cup will see South Augusta play West Augusta at 1pm on Sunday at Central Oval.
The only other game of the second and final round of the pre-season competition will be held on Sunday in Port Pirie, with Solomontown lining up against Central Augusta at 1pm at Globe Oval.
Following the late withdrawal of Roxby Downs, which left two teams without competing sides for the two-week competition, Quorn/Willsden offered to withdraw from the competition, which has led to the changes in this week's games.
Before the change, Solomontown was due to play Central Augusta in Port Pirie on Saturday, and Quorn/Willsden was to play South Augusta at 12pm at Central Oval on Sunday. West Augusta was without a side to play.
