Her two sons both kick 100 goals for the season on the same day<br><br>Older son Trevor Russell played for Hamilton in the Western Border FL whilst younger son Tony played for South Warrnambool in the Hampden FL.<br><br>Tony also broke the Hampden FL goalkicking record set in 1930.<br><br>Tony and Trevor both played in the Interleague game between Hampden and Western Border. Most 'senior' leagues postponed their matches, but the Northern Tasmanian Football Association did not.<br><br>In late 19th C. and early 20th C. the NTFA postponed rounds due to clashing with special Brass Band contests, trotting meetings etc.<br><br>Seems really odd to us now...but is a reflection of society at the time. ]]></description>
