i got a surprise to see in the warracknabeal Harald the other day about Manangatang merging with central Murray's Tooleybuc leaving the mallee league with 7 clubs after manangatang won the 2002 flag & 2003 Runners up unless they have lost a lot of players end of this season wonder if they will use both grounds a long way between manangatang and Tooleybuc about 40 ks so obsually Toolybuck must be struggling for em to merge they should be a good side in a few years similar to...

The purpose of this question is to find out just how old our current victorian football leagues are.

Whilst all leagues have their origins elsewhere , whether be by breakaways or mergers I'm more interested on how long the moniker has been on the letterhead.

After much more than a season undefeated, the Lyrebirds finally went down to the Catani Blues last weekend.

According to sources, only a scattering of Buln Buln players remained at Catani for a beer, the rest fled pretty quietly and quickly. Not really surprising, a loss after such a great trot of wins would actually be very disheartening, even to a team sitting clear on top of the ladder and odds on for the flag.

i was at the collingwood - melbourne game on the queens bday and they had a game on before the big game started (if that makes sense) and this guy from bendigo got knocked down and started having a seizure or sumthin!!! does anyone know what happened or if this guys ok? I felt so sick when i saw it!!! thnx a lot!

The VCFL has revamped their website and set up webpages for all Leagues and clubs individually. There is scope for publishing relevant information for all clubs in relation to news, results, histories etc. Worth a look through.
