I'm undertaking research for an article on Aboriginal players who played for Fitzroy. Joe Johnson, the first known Aboriginal in the VFL /AFL, played for the Roys from 1904 to 1906. According to one source, he then went to Brunswick VFA as captain-coach(1907-11).

I'm trying to confirm this. Can anyone point me to relevant sources or know of someone who could help me?

Its all well and good to compile all this info, but I'm sure you'd agree that a data warehousing system would be the most appropriate repository for everything found.

I have tried and failed about a dozen times to create one. I've used MS Access, and even reverted to QBasic to try to establish an front end for inputting data, only to find that its above me.
